  Size:  12-36"

Habit: Short clump of leaves with tall slender flower stalks.

Flowers: Star shaped in mauve, red, maroon, pink, green and yellow-green.

Culture: Fertile well drained soil, Partial shade is best but will do fine in full sun if given enough water. Flowers will fade slightly in full sun.

Utilization: Bedding, Containers or cut flowers.

Propagation: . Sow seeds directly on soil, do not cover with soil  More info on propagation.

Disease and Insects: This plant is known to attract pests  but is extremely hardy. For this reason they are best used in containers so they do spread pests to other plants.
