'Autumn Joy'

A long lived perennial  that never becomes invasive has made this a popular perennial in the home garden. Flowers from August till frost usually in pink but rose, crimson, and white are also available. This perennial is native to Japan and got it's name for it's ability to live in rocky ledges.


  Size: 18-24"

Habit: Upright mounding

Leaves: Thick fleshy and light green, grow to about three inches and can develop a white dust.

Culture: Full sun with rich soil and good drainage. This plant is not to fussy and will grow in wet soil.

Utilization: Borders, Massing or individual in perennial gardens.

  • 'Variegatem' - Yellow and green foliage with bright pink flowers.
